weLearn Policies

1. Registration
Registration starts three weeks prior to the beginning of the semester.  Completed registration form and tuition can either be turned in to weLearn campus in person or by mail.  Class sizes are limited, so registration is on a first come, first serve basis.  Students will receive enrollment confirmation prior to the beginning of the semester.  Students are not considered enrolled until tuition is received.

2. Min/Max Enrollment

In order to create an intimate learning environment, maximum enrollment is 12 students.  Once a class has reached its maximum number of students, the class will be closed.  Minimum enrollment is 5 students for group lessons.  If less than 5 students enroll in a class, the class may be canceled.

3. Tuition Policy

Starting 2010, enrollment to weLearn is on a semester basis only.  By enrolling at the beginning of a semester, it is understood that tuition for the entire semester is owed.  Missed classes must be made up during the same semester in which the class was missed.  Please call or email to arrange make-ups.
Payment Options The school year is divided into 2 semesters (15 weeks in fall semester and 21 weeks in spring semester).  Tuition for the entire semester is due at the beginning of each semester.
You will receive pre-register discount if you register prior to the semester starts, and pay the tuition for the semester.
Tuition may also be paid in 5 equal installments in spring or 4 in fall semester which must be paid by post-dated checks held by weLearn.  The installment payments are due the first day of class and then due the first day of each month (in January, February, March, April, and May for spring semester, or in September, October, November, and December for fall semester).  The pre-registration discount does not apply if installment payments are chosen at time of registration.
Tuition will be prorated for students who enroll after the semester has begun but no discount will be given.
Late Fees Payment is considered late after the 1st of the month and will be charged a $10 late fee.  For those who have elected to use the installment plan, payments are due by post-dated check by the first day of the month.  A fee of $20 will be billed for each dishonored check.

4. Withdrawal and Refund Policy

If a student intents to drop a class, parents must notify weLearn in writing at least seven (7) days prior to student withdraws from the program.  weLearn will issue a refund of paid but unused tuition within four (4) weeks of receipt of the notice of withdrawal.

5. Attendance and Tardiness

Student is required to attend all the classes for which student is scheduled.  If for any reason student cannot attend a scheduled class, student’s parents must notify weLearn in advance, and student must make up the class within the same semester.   Student is expected to be on time in order to maximize the value of the class.

6. Homework

Student is required to complete homework assignments for each class and have them prepared for collection or inspection at the next class.

7. Code of Conduct

The behavior standard is to respect all individuals in class, including teacher, teacher assistances, other students and yourself.  Student must behave in a responsible manner. Student who misbehaves will be encouraged to find positive alternative forms of behavior.
Student may be dismissed from class for talking, disrespectful behavior or disrupting class.
Student may not leave class without teacher’s permission.
Chewing gum is not allowed in the classroom.
